Check out the striking difference our CleanSpace Liner makes on the underside of this home. Our team has it lined on the floor, walls, and up the supports of the crawl space, and while it does make it look pretty, that is not its main purpose. This durable liner is blocking out ground moisture and humidity, keeping the area dry and safe from moisture damage. The water that is prevented from entering the crawl space is directed towards out sump pump with the help of drainage matting, and is sent away from the home. The CleanSpace Liner is stunning in both aesthetics and purpose!
After out stabilization process, the cracks on the outside walls of this home sealed up very nicely! How far we can seal cracks will vary from home to home, but we're always happy to see when we can safely make a visual difference.
This homeowner from Lake Charles gave us a call because they were having some moisture and mold issues in their crawlspace. Brett DiBiase performed the inspection and found a moisture content of a whopping 25% in the wooden joists. This is extremely high since mold can START growing when the moisture content is at least 16%.
Fortunately, we were able to treat the mold and install our waterproofing encapsulation system in the crawlspace of this beautiful home. We completed the job with a dehumidifier to maintain the dry atmosphere and a sump pump to keep the ground water out. We left with a happy customer!
Sweaty concrete walls and leaky window vents led to constant water seepage in this Louisiana basement. The homeowners were looking for a permanent solution to this problem. Constant water intrusion not only made the basement unusable space, but the stagnant water created an unhealthy atmosphere to breathe in. Our team was able to get out there and propose our basement waterproofing solutions. We repair basement leaks from the inside, rather than the outside. First, we install our WaterGuard product underneath the concrete to catch and direct water directly to the sump pump. This will keep it from gathering on top of the concrete and staying in the room. Then we install our BrightWall wall coverings to not only brighten up the space, but create a system for the wall leakage to follow, directing it into the FlowGuard and eventually into the sump pump. This is the most effective system to alleviate the basement of water leakage and buildup.
This isn't your average vapor barrier! Time and time again we've been out to look at homes and found the remains of dirty, torn, and pulled up standard crawl space vapor barriers. They just aren't cut out to handle the fight against moisture damage, but the CleanSpace Liner certainly is! In the second image you'll see this once exposed crawl space completely protected with this liner, not just ground, but the walls and supports of the crawl space as well. Ground and wall seepage is completely blocked, and this barrier won't be moving anywhere!
