This very tall crawlspace was struggling with water leaking in and getting trapped. It was causing mold and mildew to build up. Corey Becker performed the inspection and gave a free estimate to the homeowners. Taking advantage of our Same-Day Savings discount, they saved 5% on their job. Ethan and his crew installed the encapsulation and left the crawlspace moisture-free! Now it will regulate itself and keep moisture and mold from returning.
Trapped moisture under this home was causing a multitude of issues including rotten floor joists and rotten subflooring. It was creating musty smells that were lingering inside the home, and creating a breeding ground for mold to grow. Design Specialist, Corey Becker, performed the inspection and proposed our custom solution of crawlspace encapsulation with a sump pump and dehumidification. We were able to install this job within a couple weeks after the inspection and left with a happy customer! Their crawlspace is now dry and healthy and will stay that way for the life of the home.
These two images show the drastic difference that our company was able to make on this crawlspace. You can see our durable CleanSpace liner, our crawlspace dehumidifier, and our sump pump system all placed within the crawlspace. Each component is fighting to combat moisture and protect this crawlspace, and the rest of the home, from any future damage.
Our main purpose for coming out to this customer's home was to fill in large voids under his driveway and seal the existing cracks. The homeowner warned us that a chunk of his driveway had actually broken off, and was curious if we knew someone who would be able to replace that section for him. Our talented and craft concrete foreman asked him to hold onto that piece so we could give something a try. The job is now finished, and not only did we complete our original task, our crew was able to lock that piece securely back in place with NexusPro after filling the void! Very proud of our crews for going out of their way to finding an additional solution.
Henry Bennett was called to look at this home in Vicksburg, Mississippi. They had insulation stuffed right up under the floor joists. Large amounts were already falling due to holding moisture. While intentions are good with crawlspace insulation, it's never a good idea. Having something so close to wood that is able to hold moisture will inevitably, hold moisture. As we all know know moisture + wood = rot.
When we install a job, we always remove this troublesome insulation. Not only does our system keep the crawlspace dry and free of high humidity, but completely sealing off the crawlspace will in turn, insulate it. We have a testimonial from a customer who checked his crawlspace during the ice storm, and the temp reading from under the house was as close as 3-5º similar the house temperature. Amazing, right?
