Many people look to standard vapor barriers as a cheap and quick fix to the moisture problems under their homes. Time and time again, we've had homeowners reach out to us to help them with moisture issues, even though they already own and have paid for a vapor barrier. They're thin, they move and leave ground exposed, and we've even seen plenty of them completely degraded. The permanent solution you expect from a standard vapor barrier, can actually be found in our CleanSpace Liner. This liner is much thicker, much more durable, and works perfectly with our crawl space dehumidifiers and sump pumps to create a completely moisture-proofed environment. You'll see that the CleanSpace Liner in these photos is spread tightly against the ground, AND up the crawl space walls and supports. This liner won't be moving, and it certainly won't let any ground water seepage past it.
This large crawlspace in Diamondhead was having water seepage and moisture problems. Henry Bennett designed a custom proposal and system to meet their needs and our crew got it installed. It's complete with a sump pump, dehumidifier, waterproof vapor barrier, and wall liner to keep the crawlspace dry.
This homeowner needed a solution for moisture intrusion in her crawlspace. The water was so disruptive, it was causing mold, rot, and buckling floors. Corey Becker was the Design Specialist on this project and was able to design a custom solution that would permanently fix her moisture issue. We cleaned out the crawlspace, performed a mold treatment spray, and installed our encapsulation system.
These before and after photos showcase a complete transformation for this crawl space in Bush, LA. Moisture problems had plagued the underside of this home for a while, but it couldn't be ignored when it started affecting their floors. Certain areas inside the home started to dip and some felt soft to walk on, very scary signs for any concerned homeowner. Our team came prepared to stabilize those floors, AND take care of the moisture problem that caused it in the first place. The jacks you see are a part of our SmartJack System, a solution that will permanently be supporting these joists from now on. They can even be easily adjusted to fit the home's future needs! The white liner you now see spread across the crawl space is our CleanSpace Liner, it is working together with several other products to block out seepage and tackle moisture from any source. This area has never been cleaner, dryer, or safer!
In these before and after photos you can catch a glimpse at some of the most vital parts of our encapsulation system. The white vapor barrier you see along the ground and up the walls of the crawl space is our CleanSpace Liner. It helps seal the crawl space and act as a shield against ground moisture. In the front of the image is our efficient crawl space dehumidifier, constantly working to keep this space at a much lower and safer humidity level. Behind the dehumidifier is our sump pump system, any collected water from below the liner, from the dehumidifier, or extra seepage will be sent away from the crawl space with a powerful, battery backed up pump.
