Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

Moisture and mold were growing in this homeowner's crawlspace. When she found the insulation was holding water right up under her floors, she knew she had to do something. Corey Becker inspected the crawlspace and was able to provide a solution for her home. We removed the soaked insulation and sealed off the crawlspace. Then we installed our 20 mil CleanSpace liner, sump pump, and dehumidifier to permanently and effectively protect the crawlspace from moisture intrusion, mold, and rot. 

The damp and dirty underside of this home had been causing the homeowner plenty of problems. Most notably, buckling floors throughout their home caused by the moisture. This before/after partly displays how we fixed that problem, it is hard to miss that bright and shiny CleanSpace Liner! This durable barrier is used to block out moisture seepage from the ground and lead it to sump pump. It works amazing with out crawlspace dehumidifier, which handles the humidity. This client gave us a call so that we could help her preserve her parents home. They had tried doing everything they could to fix the rippling floors and moldy smell. They had a vapor barrier installed by another company, but after months the issue still remains. As you can see the problem was not fixed. Standing water, mold, and exposed groud were causing issues to build up. This is where we came in to help. We started with a mold spray to kill the excessive mold, then fully encapusulated her crawlspace, installed a sump pump, and a dehumidifer to help the floors and keep future mold from growing. 

This homeowner reached out to us after noticing his floors beginning to buckle, he took a quick look under the home itself and noticed there was some fungal growth on his floor joists. We sent one of our design specialists out to take a look at these issues, and they discovered a much deeper issue with moisture and mildew. With a complete lack of moisture protection, it is no shock that it had gotten this bad, but fortunately we came with a solution! Our encapsulation system was just what he needed, it would bring a combined variety of moisture-proofing products capable of acting as protection against all forms of water and moisture. Our CleanSpace Liner lines both the floors and walls of the crawl space to act as a barrier against water seepage and intrusion, which is also led towards our TripleSafe SumpPump. A crawl space dehumidifier is also installed in the space to constantly keep the humidity down to a safe percentage, creating an environment where mold and mildew cannot thrive. We're glad we were able to discover his issue and put an end to it before things got worse!
