This homeowner called because his driveway was riddled with cracks, and he was aware of the potential problems this could bring. Cracks leave openings fore water and moisture to slip into and beneath the slab. If this continues for too long, serious erosion can occur, which can lead to settlement and broken concrete. We sent one of our design specialists out, Matt, to inspect the driveway and create a plan. This driveway for a new construction home was already starting to crack and look unsightly. The homeowners knew that fixing the crack soon would keep the damage from getting worse. This homeowner was looking for driveway crack repair for their beautiful home in Madison. The home and landscaping were stunning, but the cracks in the driveway were an eyesore and bringing the curb appeal down. 

We found that some of the driveway had sunken in a couple inches from soil erosion, causing the cracks to form. Without taking the time to fix WHY the cracks were there in the first place, we would have just been putting a temporary bandaid over the problem. To start the project, we injected PolyLevel foam under the sinking concrete to fill the void and raise the driveway up to a level position. Our foam is quick and durable. Once the concrete is level on all sides, we use NexusPro, our silicone sealant, to seal up the cracks for good. 

The previously sunken area of this pool deck has now been raised back up and all surrounding cracks have been protected and sealed to ensure erosion and voids are no longer a problem. Using polyfoam, the slab was quickly restored to its original position without the mess that may come with mudjacking. The NexusPro that currently seals the cracks is flexible and UV-resistant, making it ready for any weather conditions.
