The joints of this concrete walkway has eroded out and left exposure points for moisture over the years. While not as bad as many others we've seen, this seeping moisture did cause the slabs to sink somewhat and become unlevel. With our two products, NexusPro and PolyLevel, we went ahead and brought it back up to level and created protection against any further settlement. Our expanding PolyFoam is injected beneath the slab through tiny holes, in order to fill in any voids that had formed and bump that concrete back up. Those joints and any cracks are then filled in and sealed with out quality sealant, NexusPro. It is made to hold up against rough weather conditions and harsh UV rays, ensuring it lasts as a barrier. We were also able to do similar work on their driveway, the concrete all around this home has been protected!
Lumberkote will help keep mold and moisture away and is non-toxic.
Here is a photo of the state of this homeowner's crawlspace when our design specialist, Corey, first did his initial inspection and estimate. Its your typical messy crawlspace with a moist ground floor. This moisture was playing a large part in the sinking floor problem the homeowner reached out to us about. In the second image, you can see the crawlspace after Corey designed a system for the home and one of our talented production crews made it a reality. The mess is gone, and more importantly, the moisture will no longer be a problem. The white CleanSpace liner you see all throughout the crawlspace is acting as a barrier, keeping out ground water seepage. Unseen in the images, is our energy efficient crawlspace dehumidifier and our perimeter drainage system. Both working alongside the CleanSpace vapor barrier to stop moisture, water, and humidity from affecting this home.
Our foundation repair crew's main goal is to first stabilize the home, always in the safest manner. We do not want to push the home further than we should and create more damage. Sometimes in the process of stabilizing, we are able to achieve some lift. You'll notice in these two images that the crack between the window and the wall has shrunk, and the separation in the brick has gotten closer. The most important part, preventing further settlement was achieved, and we are happy to see we could help with some of the cracking as well!
Sometimes you can't see that there are issues under your home, you have to smell them. When moldy/musty smells were coming up from this homeowner's floors, they figured that there must be something going on their crawl space. They reached out to us, and we sent one of our design specialists out to go find the culprit. This crawl space had been left exposed and unattended to for a good while, letting moisture and humidity problems continue to grow. In a damp environment like this, mold is able to thrive, which can lead to these smells and eventually much worse damage. Our design specialist was not only able to find the cause, but also a solution - our encapsulation system. By sealing off the space and wrapping the floors and walls of the space in our CleanSpace Liner, along with installing our crawl space dehumidifier and sump pump system, we are able to condition this space and turn it into a shield against moisture. It is a massive upgrade that will not only handle the annoying smell, but prevent any issues that may have been on their way.
