This home in New Iberia had a crawlspace and a basement. They were having leaks in the basement and moisture and mold in the crawlspace. Henry Bennett performed the inspection and presented our solution. We were able to fix both! Our basement waterproofing system is an inside, in-ground solution. We place a drainage pipe around the perimeter of the room to catch the leaks that come in from the walls and up from the footing. We also install wall products to not only direct the moisture to the drain, but they brighten up the whole room! The perimeter drainage line drains to the sump pump thats also installed in the ground. When the water reaches a certain level in the pump, it automatically sends it out and away from the home. This permanently protects the home from water intrusion and provides peace of mind to the homeowners!
Our CleanSpace Liner is a vital part of our overall encapsulation system and really goes above and beyond your standard vapor barrier. This much more durable liner isn't just thrown on top of the crawl space floor, but is wrapped around all of the walls and supports of the crawl space as well. In combination with our drainage matting, ground and wall moisture seepage can be blocked out and collected. This encapsulation was designed by one of our specialists, Scottie, and installed by our foreman, David, and his talented crew!
Check out the striking difference our CleanSpace Liner makes on the underside of this home. Our team has it lined on the floor, walls, and up the supports of the crawl space, and while it does make it look pretty, that is not its main purpose. This durable liner is blocking out ground moisture and humidity, keeping the area dry and safe from moisture damage. The water that is prevented from entering the crawl space is directed towards out sump pump with the help of drainage matting, and is sent away from the home. The CleanSpace Liner is stunning in both aesthetics and purpose!
After out stabilization process, the cracks on the outside walls of this home sealed up very nicely! How far we can seal cracks will vary from home to home, but we're always happy to see when we can safely make a visual difference.
This homeowner from Lake Charles gave us a call because they were having some moisture and mold issues in their crawlspace. Brett DiBiase performed the inspection and found a moisture content of a whopping 25% in the wooden joists. This is extremely high since mold can START growing when the moisture content is at least 16%.
Fortunately, we were able to treat the mold and install our waterproofing encapsulation system in the crawlspace of this beautiful home. We completed the job with a dehumidifier to maintain the dry atmosphere and a sump pump to keep the ground water out. We left with a happy customer!
