Messy Crawlspace
Before our crew cleaned out the crawlspace. You can see how wet the mud is in this photo. If you look towards the middle back you can see remnants of plastic sheeting that was put down to be a moisture barrier.
Holding Water
Puddles under homes form due to two contributing factors; ground water seepage and open ventilation (bringing in moisture droplets in the air).
Brand New Crawlspace!
We cleaned out all the lingering debris and encapsulated the crawlspace. Not only will this help control the moisture and humidity, but it makes for an easier crawl when work has to be done or inspected under the home.
Sump Pump
We ended up installing 2 pumps and 2 dehumidifiers because of the size of this home. They will work together to keep the crawlspace dry and the atmosphere clean.
JD says it's good!
We always install an air tight sealable door at the end of every job. This is to protect the crawlspace from cracks in regular access doors that could bring in moisture droplets.
